Because of the variety of work and speciailties that the Motion Agency provides, I needed to create multiple sizzles reels, one for each department.
I tried to make my job easier by modulating as much as I could, but with different music tracks (different bpms), different client work, and sometimes different goals, it felt like I made each one from scratch.
In addition to the sizzle reels, I was asked every once in a while to create animations, both 3D and 2D, for social media.
For this blog, I was challenged with creating a can viewing itself in a mirror in a 2D illustrated style. Having learned 2D texturing (toon shading) in Cinema 4D ascent through the School of Motion, I figured I'd try out that style. I think it worked out quite well.
For Christmas of 2021, I directed, shot, and edited the Holiday E-Card that was sent to all of Motion's clients.
This was challenging, for it was something I've never done before, but it was extremely fun physically directing photography shoots and editing the people into a 3D space.
The idea behind this "card" was that I would edit all the shots into an HDRI image that will be hosted as a viewable panorama. Use your mouse to drag and look around below! Or just physically move your phone around on mobile.
