HIVE MIND
I created Hive Mind during the start of quarantine. All my classes had turned to online and I was stuck inside all the time. Sadly, the class I was in, Tinytype photography, could not do our planned trips around the south making tintype photographs, instead, My professor asked us to do an ongoing project through the quarter.
Being isolated had me rethink what identity really was, which evolved out of Library, my ongoing body of work.
Digital photography, 2020
I am interested in incorporating this type of digital manipulation into my Library series, and I believe cyanotypes can work perfectly, for I will be able to expose my images directly onto my collaged canvas.
Here is my first experiment. This exposure does not have enough detail for what I like, (most likely do to the transparency I used), so now it's just trial and error till I find the best method.
