ECHO CHAMBER
This piece is what started my interest in my medium and theme, for this is the first time I used collage. I created this piece as a graphic design project to create a poster, but it turned out as a jump start to my body of work. This piece is rather political, for it speaks on the idea of an echo chamber, which is defined as someone surrounding themselves with people that think just like them. This is instinctive in people, but the by-product is an ignoring and blocking of people who think differently. This causes lack of debate, and increase of ignorance, and division in society. This diptych is part a portrait and a quote said to be by Aristotle.
"It is a mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."
